Water quality Analysis
We offer free testing on domestic drinking water wells to rural residents of the District. Our technicians conduct annual nitrate testing and each sub-district is on a 5-year rotation to be tested. Please call our office to schedule a water quality analysis with one of our technicians.

Trees provide benefits such as protecting homes and livestock, prevent soil erosion, and provide wildlife habitat.

No-Till Drill Rental- Machine Only
No-till implementation has various positive impacts on the environment. Soil health will improve by the increase of organic matter which increases infiltration, increases biological and microbial activity as well as reducing compaction. Water quality will improve due to the increased surface cover and reduced runoff contaminants. Net Farm Income will increase due to reduced labor, fuel, and equipment needed to boost profitability.

Learning Center/Meeting Room
The Center is available at no charge to schools, non-profit organizations, and civic organizations. Private use is also available, donations are suggested. The Center may be used anytime from 7:30 AM-11:00 PM CT and is available 7 days a week. The space may be used for various events such as meetings, trainings, educational workshops, etc. Seating available for up to 50 individuals.

Hefty Energy Bags
Hefty Energy Bags are available for purchase at the NRD office. These bags are great for hard to recycle plastics and come in 3 different sizes. Once the bag is full, simply tie it and place it in your local plastic recycling trailer.

We have a wide variety of nature and wildlife pocket guides available for purchase. Guides in stock include: Field Dressing, Basic Tracking, Sandhill Crane Display, Mushrooms, The Night Sky, Edible Wild Plants, Wilderness First Aid, Roadside Wildflowers, Invasive Weeds of North America, Nebraska Trees, Home and Garden Pests, Nebraska Birds and Nebraska Wildlife. All field guides are $5.
Notary Services
We can assist you with obtaining a notarization at no charge. Our Administrative Secretary, Jamie Green, is certified to perform these services. For your convenience, notary services will be available during our regular office hours, Monday -Friday 7:30am-4:00pm CT.
